Wanted a torque converter in the rpm range of 2500-3000 rpm for my 340-727 duster! let me know what you have. thanks.

I have a TCI 10" Streetfighter 3000-3500 stall.I paid right at $500.00.I used it 40 miles and blew my engine pulled engine and tranny and have not used it since.I now have a 4 speed so I do not need the stall.Make me a offer. Jim [email protected]

horsepower and weight will have allot to do w/the stall of your car. a stock motor, 3000lb. car stall at 3000, may only stall a trick motor in same car at 2000 rpms or less.
what motor in what a body?

340 with mopar hydraulic 241 degree, .484 lift cam, 10.5 compression,M1 intake..in a duster. just went on the scale at the track yesterday and it weighed in at 3120.

like said above, engine, weight, torque have a lot to do with the stall.
i have a refreshed TurboAction 17805 (older number) 10" special, neutral balance 340, not 360 external.
604 list price, 483 cost....430.00 delivered Atl

mr bill, what part number would match up best to the old 17805 number? thanks.

i got a call into TurboAction for information on this convertor (by serial number) and another one i have here from 1974(freshened in late 90's)
They now put an S at the end of the number and they have MED and T versions also..check out their website for more in depth info.
i'll buzz them back later this afternoon and post results, thxs, b

3200-3400 for a smallblock (more for a stroker)
i believe this will be more convertor than you need, he did say they could "tighten" it up for street use but if you had to do that just get one
brand new built for your application

Thanks mrbill! I will have to see what kind of money I can come with here. Its been tight latley :-(
