I have a set of these that I plan to use in a 318 build. How do the stock adjusters hold up for .500 lift cams and 320# open pressure springs? Should I buy a new set of adjusters & does someone make adjusters for these rockers?
Thanks again,
Jeff

They will work fine, I would get a set of new lockable adjusters for them though.

I use the crane nice set work good!

I also had the locking Crane adjusters on my 273 rockers and they were way better than the interfearance fit stock ones.

Smith bros pushrods and Manton sells a really good set.

I think they are 3/8-24 when you look for a set.

Cranes 99802-16 are about $50/set IIRC

Stay away from the MP adjusters, same for Crane adjusters. Over the years I have run into adjusters that are soft metal. Suppose to be hardened. Had a set of Crane nodular iron rockers on my small block, kept going out of adjsutment. Pulled several and found that the ball that contacts with the pushrod cup wore down. Ran the rest over a file and got metal filings. Went with Smith Brothers, never had another problem
