74 duster 4.5 back space with caltrac springs 8 inch wheel :blob:

Check out this thread just below yours ---> http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=278348

Im doing it right now and I posted a good amount of pics in that thread. Im currently moving the springs in 1/2" to make more room. Im using 275/60-15 nittos. Same size tire but they measure out a tad smaller in diameter than the M/T's but that shouldnt make a difference. I'm using a 15x8 5.2 backspace rim. I could not see them fitting and not rubbing without the relocation of the springs and fender rolling. Im tackling both now and everything should fit nice and tight when done. Now it should be a little easier for you since you dont have the overlaping fender apron to deal with on the duster.

I run the same tire on my 73 Duster. It has a Dana 60 with disc brakes, Super Stock springs and they are mounted on 8 inch wide wheels with a 3 inch backspace.

Super stock 002/003 springs, direct connection 7/8 " off set front hangers, custom offset rear shackles. Summit Racing cheapie aluminum wheel (15" x 8" four and three quarters backspace). 275 /60/15 B.F.G. drag radials just clear ,on the fender lips. Consider it, a 72 Scamp....

29x14.5-14" Bias "Kelly Super Chargers" on my '73 340 Duster with Stock Tubs and Stock Spring Location. On 14x10" Keystone Klassics, with roughly 4.5" Backspacing and an A-Body 8.75" Rear (with aftermarket LBP axleshafts)

Edge of the tread is about flush with the outside edge of the quarter panel. Rubs a little on hard turns when you've got your foot jammed into the throttle.

A bit bigger in height and width than a 275/60/15. Though I ran a 275/60/14 on the rear of my '74 Duster for years. Stock Tubs, Stock Spring Location, on a set of 14x8" Keystone Klassics with Unknown Backspacing and no rubbing or fitment issues.

I found on my barracuda I needed a 5/16s spacer to get the 15x8 with 4.5 backspace off the springs , they only had 1/4 inch of clearance with out the spacer , I'm running the nitto NT555r in 275/60/15 .

what kind of numbers does it run and ruff guess on power:blob:

As driven on the street it's been 12.15 @ 109mph and hoping to push it into the high 11's this Sunday at Musclepalooza:burnout:

I run the m/t's on my '70 duster with h.d. factory springs in the stock location it has about 1/2" clearance when I air them down at the track, using Summit cheap drag shocks set at 50/50 and a pinion snubber 60' in the mid 1.50's with a best of 11.79..
