After decoding the fender tag I noticed that my 74 Dart should have a 3-speed-wiper...

In fact it seems that I've only a 2-speed. Out, slow, fast.

For what is the 3rd speed? Interval?

Another problem: if I switch off, the wiper-blades stop immediately, so that I've to wait untill they are at the bottom of the screen.

Is this causing in a defect motor? Or is there somewhere a relais?

Help needed... :-(

My understanding of the basic wiper, at least in my early A's, is there are 2 wires (plus ground return thru body). One wire is wiper power, the other is "park". The purpose of "park" is to make it stop at the bottom. Now that I think about it, is mine 1 spd or is there another wire for "high speed"? Obviously, haven't been driving the car yet. Early A's also had variable-speed wipers that had more wires and special motors (several flavors?). Anyway, I think the "park" wire is common to all, so research how that is supposed to work.
