Anyone running steelies w/ dog dishes and 3" studs? Any issues with caps not fitting over them?

Thinking about switching from my Convo-Pro's to steelies w/ dog dishes but I want to be able to run caps on the rear...

Thanks!

I have 3" studs and the Plymouth style cap. I never thought they would fit but one day I went out and "pop" on they went.

I had aluminum dog dishes over my 3" studs and no clearance issues. Just took them off because the color didnt seem to go with all the gold.

Bought my car with them already on... and thanks guys for all the quick input!

Why have 3" studs, for the street? Or the track?
If you are running mag style lug nuts instead of taper seat lug nuts the shoulder of the nut is usually outside of the studs threads. This is not safe as the lug nuts are thin where they pilot into the wheel. The threads need to reach well into the hex area of the nut. I remember many small bolt pattern mopars with slot mags breaking studs and nuts back in the day.
