I have that issue coming up in 6 months, about 30 years ago was the last time & about 450 more HP to drive lol

That should be fun. Way, way back when, the fastest I had gone was a very high 12, when a friend put me in his mid 11s 440 Duster. Wow, that was an experience! I ran about 5 hundredths faster than him that day he was pissed. (I shorted first through nervousness, I guess that must have been the right thing!)
By the time i got my 62, into low eleven, it became pretty routine. Then I finished the Tina, and went from a footbrake mid eleven to a transbrake very low ten, another wow experience. When the Cortina became routine, that mid 11 62 savoy was SLOW!
Trust me, a few passes will shake off the rust, and sneak up on WAY FAST!
kinda slowly. No need to rotate the earth on the first pass.

Thanks, I was kinda thinking ease into it myself too .
I might be remembering wrong but, I think you could use a tape measure to compare those two intakes.
I can't bench flow them, but there are a few things that I think are worth looking at... perhaps it will give somebody something to consider before buying one or the other. I've used (using) both.

Got a lot done today. I got all the footage I needed for the intake comparison video. I also got the RPM air gap installed on the truck. Now it’s just a matter of hooking everything up. Looks like I’ll need a new bypass hose . Still shooting for this upcoming Saturday.

Thanks for the picture. I may do something similar, or whatever it takes. Can't believe somebody doesn't make a "kit" as often as the magnums get the LA fronts...

LOL.... that's about right !! I was thinking the fittings and a hose pre-bent and the right length. If I could have thrown that in the cart for 18.99 I would have just to save the time of scroung'n up pieces. Saturday is coming fast you know.....I’ll sell you a “Kit”. You're welcome, if you look close the corners of the fitting had to be grinded off to get it to spin into the intake.

Got a lot done today. It did take me some time to figure out the bypass hose, and while it’s not the perfect set up, it’s going to work for now. Saturday is coming fast! I got everything hooked up, started it and warmed it up, but no time to drive it today.

I will also add that I reset the transfer slots on the primaries, and I opened the secondaries, so the transfer slots were showing. Ran good idling, will know more when I can take it out and test drive it. Wednesday already tomorrow and Friday it will be on the trailer so I'm all but out of time for this Saturday. Only this Saturday and the next for this season, and they get real iffy this time of year due to weather.
- still got the old gas in there too.... Man! Didn't want that! I'll add fresh, dilution is the solution?? LOL

today I went like ape on ugly! Got the slicks mounted, got the brawler mounted, put some Berryman into the gas along with some 93 octane fresh fuel. It absolutely needed that! Drove it around for a while, circulating the gas.
