My brother in law buys a lot of stuff at auctions for resale. He ended up with a Sears/All State unit that has never been put on a car. Its not perfect but very good condition. We are wondering what its worth and if any one would be interested in it. Here are some pictures if you are interested pm me and I will put you in contact with him. From what research a well used on will bring $375-$500. This one hasn't seen any use. Thanks for your help.

Well strictly speaking, that is an "evaporative cooler," or "swamp cooler," not AC. But I bet it's a lot newer than "30-40's" Early 50's I'd say

They are probably worse less than you think and more than I do. The fact that it's new is certainly worth something

we use to see alot of em back in the early 60s on rt 66. people would use em crossing the desert in south california. i remember u-haul use to rent the things for 2 bucks a day. boy. remembering these things sure makes me feel old. lol. dave.
