318 hp estiimate??? need input

I recently got a 318 .40 over smoking it's butt off I bieleve the oil rings are shot because it has good compression anyway. I am honing it out new rings and I took the 302 heads and ported and polished the intake and exhaust sides and port matched them I am also running and comp cam 260h cam with possibly a 65 model 273 commando intake also ported to 360 size and, drilled to fit new bolt holes. Can anyone guess about what this will make also with a 260 duration .440 lift will It have any noticeable lope? Also any suggestions or camshafts for sale? Or any parts really?

Yes, a performer intake, skip the drilling mod to the intake, a member here could use that intake IIRC. The Performer is a better intake.

Camshaft recomendations need alot of info in which you surpiles none.

Smoking? So what's your valve guide clearance? Bore taper?

I'd guess 145 hp, 90 at the wheels if you run the miserable factory 64-67 intake. Why would you increase your intake to "360 size" with 302 heads? And why on Gods green earth would you re-drill a 65 intake for later heads? No, really, that intake is no prize, trade it for a Performer.

That cam should idle just fine. If a rough idle is your only goal, go bigger.
