I have a 360 cu in motor out of a police car. I checked the casting #on the heads. The results say that they are 318 HP heads. The only info I can find on them is they have 1.88 int/ 1.60ex valves. Does anyone know any other specs on these heads? Thanks in advance
 
The 1.88 and 1.60 valves are the ticket. Those are stock 360 valves, not 318. I believe that was about the only difference.
 
The 360 heads have open chambers and can be a downer when used on the wrong engine. What engine are you working with?
 
x2 Rustyratrod My library states Mopar produced a 318 hp for 3 years in LA form . They were 318's with 360 heads, intake and cam . A gent I know of has one in a Volare . Runs in Stock Eliminator . Comes out of the hole like mad then falls on it's face . Revs it to the moon . runs 12.04 seconds
