well appears i have a bad intake leak that has been causing me problems. ie..running ruff, idling ruff ect. it is an older edelbrock rpm low rise intake my question is what gasket do i need to go to the stock 318 heads? any thing special or can i use a stock style gasket. obviously i will use RTV permatex for rear and front but the intake runner gaskets need replaced asap.

Does the front and rear "china walls" have locating pins still in?

but i just read that the fel pro 1243 works better for the 318 bc it has smaller intake ports than the 360 or 340 so i may have to go that route

Felpro 1243 for the 318s:

Edit:
Have been using the Black RTV Gasket Maker for sealing the China Wall instead of the cork gaskets.
