318 regular bellhousing to a833od?

Is there anyway I can make my 318 bell work on my a833od?

My bell is a 318 bell. Has the 4.454 hole.
The overdrive has the 5.150 bearing retainer.

Is there a way I can use this bellhousing. I want to because I just bought it....

The bellhousing part number is 3515734

you will have to machine the bell to the diameter of the bearing retainer...

Ok... And a 4.3 bell will drill to a 5.15 or whatever it is...

I do not think you can open an early bellhousing to 5.15. And will it be on the same center? You can swap to the 4.805 since the bolt pattern is the same, but you should be able to swap your original for an OD bellhousing.
