Are the reproduction fan shrouds decent? For an70-72 V8 Abody. 2998 325 I have read some poor reviews however those seem to be from quite a few years ago now. Not sure if anything has changed.

If Classic Industries doesn't have it, probably nobody will. I bought a correct looking fan shroud from them for my 69 340 Barracuda about 11 years ago (18" radiator I think). It was perfect.

I bought the shroud from Mancini and modified it slightly to fit my Duster's 22" radiator. Worked great.

I got one last fall from Mancini's and it looks/fits fine on my new Glen-Ray radiator. No issues at all.

Thanks for the replys. I read some people were saying their Repop shrouds cracked or busted up easily. I had some obvious concerns. I just like to double check before I buy reproduction stuff.

The newer reproductions that are available from Hoffman Winners Circle are very nice and fit well. They have been retooled using newer materials that does not deform like the reproductions that came available 20 plus years ago. Todd Hoffman does not sell direct, but many of the larger vendors carries his product line.

The other issue is people rush to install and use the wrong hardware. Over tightening also causes issues. Many reasons to blame the product but themselves.

Hoffman's has always been a good source... Chuck & Linda use to attend a lot of west coast events... Don't think I ever met Todd, he was in the process of taking over the operation last time Chuck & Linda came down to Spring Fling..

I have never heard of Glen Ray radiators. I'll have to look into them. Thanks.

If you're into original radiators, Glen-Ray is THE place to go. Bob is the guy you will deal with and he is terrific. You will get an A++ radiator and hardware. It will cost serious $$'s but you will love the product.

When I got mine last year, he contacted me to get my shipping address. I offered up my payment info but he said "No, wait until you get your radiator and be sure it's all you expect and you're happy with it. Then you can contact me and arrange payment." Now that's a business confident of their product and customer-focused. Oh, and my radiator was indeed all I wanted it to be!

To be clear, you send them your old rad as a core then they restore it and send it back?

Bob and his product will exceed any and all of your expectations. If I ever run across a core, I call and ask if he can use it towards his inventory.
