if i was to go with a edelbroke 6 pack set up would it clear the stock hood or do i need to cut it up 68 dart

It will probably clear okay if you use a stock air cleaner from one of the B or E body non-fresh-air cars. Reproductions are available. I think I've seen it done in one of the Mopar magazines.
 
It can be done, I was thinking of doing the same thing and a member on here fastback340 (john) has an absolutely beatiful cuda and did the exact same thing. I just tried looking for his gallery on here and cant find pics. Send him a pm or you can do some searching.
 
yea but cuda and dart different sheet metal will its be the same motor height hood shape so on
 
Probably close. I think '69 Cuda hood is the same as Dart Sport and/or Duster. Somebody here should know something so here's a weekend bump.
