i have a 72 demon with no scoops and i want to put an eddy air gap on my 340... does anyone else have this on there car and if so will it fit under my hood???

You may need to get a drop base air cleaner depending on the rest of your set up, but it should fit fine otherwise.

X2...I have one on my 5.2...works great with a drop base air cleaner and 3" element. It touches the insulation, but doesn't touch the hood...just make sure your carb stud isn't any taller than it needs to be.

i have one on my 70 duster with a regular 69 340 air cleaner and it fits fine.

I have an air gap on my '70 dart with the factory filter base/lid. Fits just fine. Just can't use a carb spacer.

You do not want the triangle shaped, fly eye looking $20 air cleaner. I found found that it restricts air flow. Edel-1002 -Edl-10023 are the part numbers at Summit.

As soon as I installed one, the is raised up and went a little rich.
