340 call outs upside down?

Anyone know why these 340 callouts only fit upside down? I bought them on eBay years ago. The hood is original to the car. I'm pretty sure the original ones didn't fit like this.

Change them from one side to the other..

Even if you could swap them around, the 340 would be to the front. It's supposed to be in the rear. Someone simply assembled them incorrectly.

The holes in the hood only allow it to go on upside down or backwards

are the trim pieces correct (one left, one right AND installed correctly?)

I just re did mine because the black background paint was flaking. Someone siliconed them in upside down.

How many posts have we seen with the calipers on the wrong side, bleeders down, and OP wonders why he can't get good pedal... for some it's obvious, others, not so much.. lol

My plastic "call-out" just clipped into housing, and were quite easy to pry out.
