Well its .40 over Sealed Power 2315L pistons and stock X heads. Well id a compression test and all were at 100-115. Seems real low. Are there pistons to bring these numbers up?

yeah that seems rather low. What year engine are we talking about? How about a leakdown test to ascertain the possible source of leakage, if any? Do you know the deck height with these pistons?

Some camshafts will kill your cranking compression.
Pay attention to where the intake valve closes.

OK... I'll play along. Is this a fresh rebuilt engine? What was the ring end gap when assembled? What size camshaft are you using? Where is the camshaft timing set, advanced or retarded? Those are flat top pistons so yea the number you posted is low, but as you can see there other things to take into account. More information please :)

Piston number does not ring a bell for me... L2315's show up for a 383.

OP, if the pistons are indeed low in the bore and your cam is a 340 cam or something mild, then the #'s are indeed quite low.
