I finally got my 340 running good but I have to have the distributor vacuum advance rotated way forward towards the intake manifold. I don't really like this but I can leave it if I have to . I removed the dist. several times to clock the vacuum advance more towards the fender, keeping my marks on the shaft pointing towards #1 but it seems like the dist drive gear needs to rotate but the cam gear won't let it . Am I missing something ?
