Hey guys what size bolts screw in to engine through plate for engine stand how deep do the threads go into block thanks

I like to use the bottom "big" holes that go through the block and from front to rear into the trans. In other words, these are not threaded.

Do yourself a favor. Buy some grade 5 3/8" threaded rod, a bunch of extra nuts and flat washers. Then you can space, washer, etc the thing as needed.
