340 exhaust problems

Do I need a off set adapter for the oil filter to use a hi-flow exhaust manifold on the passenger side? And which way would it be facing, to the front, the back or down? And does anyone have a picture of the set up showing it all in there with the exhaust pipe and flange

You probably need the 90 degree filter bracket. I've got a few of them laying around if you find that's what you need

I have a 1970 Dart converted from a 318 auto to a 340 4spd,does the adapter need to face back or front? You are right you are not that far away, I worked up there awhile back first exit north

It points towards the rear, summit sell the gaskets, but order them now, it takes a few weeks to get them. Mopar back-order BS.

You can point it where-ever the filter fits nice. There's no indexer on it. I like to put it so the short filter doesn't piss all over the place during an oil change.
