340 intake on 67 273 will it fit ?

I'm looking at a 340 intake to put on my 273, will this bolt up? I heard on earlier 273's there are some differences, what about 1967? Thanks

A 340 intake will bolt up to a 67 273, they have the same bolt angle.

But they have a port mismatch with a larger runner. It'll give you a slower intake velocity, just what a 273 doesn't need.

Get a stock 273 4bbl on craigs list, here or ebay.

Contact Confusedcuda....he has a 273 with 4bbl and loooooow miles.

Thanks for your input guys. My problem is that I am trying to put a holley 600 on my stock commando intake. It won't fit. There must be an adapter for this. suggestions?

The Holley needs an adapter for the HP intake. Even a 600 afb/avs needs some grinding so the secondary butterflys open. As Bobscuda said there will be a port mismatch (in the wrong direction) toolmanmike

I used an adapter on my 65 273 intake. Just get one.
