I have a leaking oil dipstick tube, chrome & bent. I ordered a new tube for a 70 and later 340 but it is only 8"long. The one I have, along with the dipstick is about 11" long. I know 70 was a changeover year for the tube but can't find the length in my parts CD. So, did I get the proper length tube and need a new dipstick or do I need a longer tube?
