Selling my rebuilt 340 short block, it’s an .020 overbore with Sealed Power 428B cast pins pistons. All new freeze plugs and distributor bushing. Main and cam bearings are new as well.

The rotating assembly was balanced (cast crank) and it’s a stock stroke. Has the main bolts for a windage tray also.

I believe it’s a 72/73 year block. I bought this from a fellow FABO member about four years ago and have had it in storage ever since. I was going to use this in my 72 D100 but have changed direction.

I’m located in Northern VA zip 20180. This is too heavy to ship but will box up in a crate for the buyer. I’m asking $1,800.00

I also have a set of original X-heads, an early 340 cast iron intake and a new .484 purple shaft cam if anyone is looking to make a complete package deal. Thanks for looking.

Nick

Vin? Just the block casting and stamped numbers are posted.
The VIN will be on the passenger side of the block, right under the drain plug between the front and middle freeze plugs. Raised pad along the frame rail. That block probably came in a 70 model Mopar. People ask for the VIN when their original block is M.I.A. from their car. Some have gotten lucky before by just asking.
