[WANTED] 340 valve springs

Looking for a full set of 68 to 71 340 valve springs and retainers in good shape.thanks in advance .

Why would you want used valve springs?

They fatigue with age and will eventually break. When that happens, the valve hits the piston, and **** flies everywhere sometimes even through the block....


If you are going to put them in a running engine, I would suggest using new ones of the correct spring pressure.

I have a set of springs I just removed from my great running 340. I upgraded cam/lifters and matching spring. I do not know much about them except they were new about 20 years ago but motor only had about 2500 miles since rebuild. They are double springs and the cam had .450 ish lift.

I had drove this motor hard before removing, but i'm kinda with Krazycuda. I would not use on anything im going to race or keep for long time. If you want pay shipping and you can have them!
