I want some input on this 340 I bought. I was told it is over .030 has cast crank and forged rods JE 10 to 1 pistons 480 hyd. cam 360 heads I have Edelbrock LD 340 intake. I am putting this in my 67 barracuda with a 727 and 8 3/4 with 355. I plan on taking it to the track every once in a while. I would love to hear what people have to say.

Ditch the cast crank and go to a full internal balance motor. You also might wanna think about going full roller setup (cam, lifter, rockers).

difference between being "told" and know for sure could make the difference in a couple of thousand dollars worth of parts...I would find out for sure what you got.....
