349 vs 365

Anyone have any input on the power difference between a stroked 318 plus .030 (349) VS a 360 plus .030 (365) Street engine where torque is goal in '95 Dakota 2 wheel drive with auto. Thanks

The 318 will get the 360 stroke crank? If so then the 360 still should have a little more torque because of the same stroke but bigger bore size - same cam, heads, carb etc. - should be cheaper also because you don´t need the special crank.....

uhhhhh yea....I think itd be much cheaper and easier to build a .030 over 360....lol....more cubes, more power

My 30 over 360 has gone 11.70's in my "street/strip" '70 duster...can'tell ya' about a 318 we don't bother with them...

Virtually no difference except cost. If it was me I'd build the 360.
