360 dipstick length

got a moroso dipstick which i feel is not the right length. can't find my old oem one to compare with. can someone measure theirs and let me know. cheers

The sure fire way:
Drain oil. leave filter.
Replace plug, add four quarts.
dip, Mark "low" at this level.
Add another quart, run to refill filter. Turn off
Dip, Mark "full" on the stick. Done

Then it's accurate to your pan, your tube, etc.
 
This thread is great to confirm my LA 360 dipstick I plan to use on my 360 Magnum is the right dimensions.

Question though, I bought a new one and the tube is dead straight, so when put into the block it will obviously interfere with the fuel pump. These tubes are typically bent a bit down by the portion that goes into/seats with the block. You can see that in the pics above with the chrome one. Does anyone have pics of the dipstick location, to show how it is positioned relative to the fuel pump, head, alternator? I can insert the tube then bend it a bit, just need to know in which direction.
