I am building a 408 stroker and have a 1973 360 block with Trick flow 190 heads and a trick flow track heat intake. It seems like the intake is too far from the heads. When I tighten it down, it appears to bend or angle the intake slightly to get it to bolt up tight. I'm guessing it would leak. Before I take it back off, I'm looking for some help. Perhaps I have the wrong intake gaskets, but I was hoping to get some feedback. Thanks.

Put the intake on without gaskets and see if it works ,then remove the cork seals and use silicone

An MS90009 is the wrong gasket to be using on an aluminum head/ intake combo, and it was for a 318 port size too.

NAILED IT! Wrong gaskets. Port window to small for starters, metal thin gaskets for OEM 318/273 heads.

Edelbrock gaskets are .063 thick.
Fel-Pro 1213 are .0635/.0640 thick.
Metal OEM style 318 gaskets are .0150 thick.
Port window offset shown below.
