Need to get into the bottom end of the 360 in my Duster and I would rather not have to buy another set of gaskets as I have what seems like about 4 sets of oil pan gaskets left over from the engine sets I've bought over time. Problem is I can't identify if they are for a 360 or 318/340 as I don't have anything to compare them too.

Anybody able to tell me how to what they fit? Maybe a length on the end seals, or something?

Appreciate the help.

the pan rail gaskets are the same on 318/340/360...

the front pan seal is the same on 318/340/360

the rear pan seal is different on the 360...smaller..but the same on the 318/340

the above applies to the LA engine...

So, if I don't have one seal that is shorter than the others, I don't have the necessary seal for a 360.

I was aware that the side rails were the same, and I know the 360 pan is different than the rest, it's the seals I was struggling to identify.

Thanks!

on a 318/340 the front and rear seal is the same...

on a 360 pan...the front seal is the same size as a 318/340 pan...but the rear seal is smaller and actually fits into the rear main cap instead of the pan ...

Hmmm....might have seen that.

Thanks!
