360 oil pan

I have a 1966 Valiant that I put a LA 360 in. I took a 273 out. I have the car 360 oil
pan and pick up. I have Schumaker motor mounts. The problem I have is the center link has dented the oil pan. The suspension is all new PST parts, What am I missing and how do I correct it? Thanks for all your help.

I have carved oil pans for clearance before. They have to be off and very clean to weld.

Last time I had my engine out I just dented the pan in deeper so it didn't hit anymore. I'm thinking the new pans are not made correctly.

There is a certain 360 oil pan that you have to use with a 360 in the early A bodies...
