Spend that kind of money on an engine and throw it on a tire on the floor... Ok
 
Yeah, he would have to lay out a pretty convincing story and tap dance for me to believe it.......and for that price and no carb? Psshhhh......you could be setting yourself up to buy a nice boat anchor if it were overheated or overrevved or run without oil.
 
Looks like it matches his shop--pigpen. I wouldn't give him $300 for it looking like that. Trans sure is a grease ball considering it also has less than 10,000 miles on it.
 
I sent him a email and he couldn't provide and info in the block casting ect and didn't have any paper work showing the rebuild "JUNK" he didn't know there was casting numbers on it LMAO
