Dave; I have had 2 of the B&M weighted flex plates fail on me. I finally took my Converter to a Mopar oriented Transmission Shop and had them weld the correct weights to the Converter, as it was done at the factory. The Trans Shop had a good laugh over the broken Flex Plates when I showed them. I have had no problems since and will do all my future 360s this way.
Other Members will post on and tell you the weighted flex plates have worked well in their Mega horsepower 360s, but little do they know they're just time bombs waiting to go off. And when they bust in a hi horse 360, you really gonna regret it.

How did they fail? B&M use to weld weights on their flexlates but their newer ones have a "bite" taken out of the opposite side.
