I did an intro a while back, and since then have done a LOT of reading here. Now at last I have something to contribute: The SBC in my '38 is gone, and ready to replace it is my bling-iest ever engine, my freshly rebuilt 383..

Built to be a healthy, mild street engine it was:
Align bored
Deck surfaced
Crank ground
Balanced
Rods resized
Complete valve job in stock heads

Parts include:
Comp Cams #21-670-4
Speed Pro forged pistons
Sealed Power Moly rings
New SS valves
ARP Hardware
Bored +.030
.030 over Speed Pro forged flat tops

She's a-goin in next week if the wind is with me. Can't wait!

One more with the woodie skulking in the background..

That's SWEEEEET!

I have a '41 Dodge p/u with 318 power. 350's don't belong in Mopar rods! SBC's are belly button and boring.

Overall...way cool!!

More pic's
That will be a smooth engine

Really cool man... I was just sitting today thinking, boy ya never see a cool hot rod with a good ole Mopar engine... looks very nice. Good job!

Since you asked...:D Here are a couple more- a bit out of date, but the best I've got:
