383 Manifold casting numbers

Will casting numbers make a difference on whether manifolds will fit a motor? I'm looking at a set of 68 manifolds - #2535484 # 2461307 - for my 68 Dart, which is currently a slant 6. I will be dropping in a 1970 383. Would these 68 manifolds fit the 70 motor, which is a totally stock 2 bbl motor. If more info is needed, please ask so I can help you help me. Those manifolds will fit on your motor, but......I don't think they are a good fit in your Dart. Check out this page.

I do not think they were made for dual exhaust , hard bend on the pass side for sure.

How about casting numbers 2806900 and 2806974. I think these are 1968 HP 440 manifolds. Would they bolt up to the 1970 906 heads on my 383 plus give clearance for power steering pump in 68 Dart? Will have Shumacher mounts to convert six to eight and would like to avoid headers if possible for factory look. Hyperlink above shows this to work but want to make sure these manifolds will bolt up. Yep Andy, those will work. That's what I picked up for my swap. I am saving some cash to rebuild a '69 383 I have. The plan is the same as yours, I want a factory look on my '75 Scamp.
