390 project

So the duster I'm buying has a 318 in it with an rv cam and etc, but with the deal I'm getting a second 318, so my next logical choice is a 390. I know there are a few guys around here who have done it, and I'd like to ask if there are any issues specific to this build that I should know so I can factor it all in correctly the first time. This is going to be a great project for 2010!

buy the right parts and it is no issue..

only issue would be the rods ...H or I beam..

I beam scats would be my choice...4340 rod and no clearance problems..

light weight...along with light weight piston....

the kb847 piston right? My goal is a 9.5:1 street engine.

Well, I had KB pistons, and before 10K, I had Ross pistons......... Whats that tell ya?
I also have stock 318 floating rods, but I don't twist it high.
