Question 1. Browsing through Summit they have ALL kinds of coolant recovery/ catch cans. Mine is a cheap aftermarket plastic one, the cap got lost. Who likes what?
============================================
Question 2. I have a Transgo TF-2 (probly be selling) and am thinking about a TF-3 (all manual) What are thoughts on a better/ cheaper kit?

(I'm frankly, not really impressed with Transgo's destructions, and found some mention on the www that there was a mistake in them for a very long time, something that should not be.)

The (used) valve body I have right now is a used Cheetah, has no rear band apply, no 1st gear compression.
=============================================
Question3. In modifying the valve body for the TF-3 or whatever I end up with, I'd LIKE to not ruin my original. Is it true that 904 VB's fit 727s, with changing the park rod? Any caveats?

I have a /6 904 that is really "parts" would not feel bad pulling the VB out if it It's about a 73, the 727 in the car is a 77

thats correct, the valve bodies are the same. just change the park rod. 71 and up.
