The new Car Craft has an article on the 410 crate motor based on the 340.
alum. heads, 508 lift 248 dur@50 flat hyd. cam and bosses for crank trigger and mounts to fit almost any mopar.
469 hp and 490 tg $7119 from mopar performance
This issue also has an article on the 4-speed 68 Hemi Dart of Dick Landy that was passed around unknown for 30 yrs.

So its a misprint in the mag?
It's confusing in the part number and price box it says
410 magnum six pack crate engine $7119
Holley six pack outboard carb $319 each
Holley six pack center carb $419
six pack linkage $81
I would think if you advertised a six pack motor the carbs would be included

Thats really crazy, almost double what the mag states time for a letter to the editor.

Yea the link didn't work for me either after posted, I switched to safari web browser(apple)
and been having some problems. It is on the mopar performance site in the musclecar section/crate motors, it doesn't show up on the first page that shows crate motors.

I think they quoted the 406 stroker crate engine price which just has a regular 360 block and magnum heads. The 410 is a 4 bolt main R3 340 block with Edelbrock heads re-branded as Mopar. I like the 410 engine but who is going to be buying one at that price?

Crate motors seem to be going up in price everywhere, regardless who is making them. As long as demand exceeds supply, the price will keep going up.
