I just bought a 413 wedge...its just a short block, and it has the high comp pistons (10-1 i think) and the stock steel crank. the engine is like brand new....its been rebuilt and it has extremely low mileage(no ridge in the cylinders!) i was just wondering what youall think the motor is worth, im tryin to find out if i got a good deal or not...

If your happy, then you got a good deal.... ;)

Now you need heads, and an intake, valve covers, etc....

did you get an oil pan, timing cover, water pump housing??? etc......

the "Small parts" can add up in cost.

A 440 will weigh close to the same, and have the ability to make
quite a bit more torque/ power.

What are your plans, or do you just want to sell it,
and make a little money?

i got all the little nicknack stuff for the bottom end, and i am happy with what i got....seems to be a pretty rare buy. idk it depends on what the offer would be if i was to sell it or not

413's were common in RV's so its not so rare, like up until 74 or so.
