I found a 413 wedge and a 727 transmission. Thing is it's in a motor home. Are the specs different from a car version ???

Photos. Some heavy motorhome engines are MUCH different. Completely different heads, intake, and exhaust. They had coolant instead of exhaust running through the intake for the head crossover, and part of the exhaust was wet,as well. Also those types had the water pump mountedl high on a big heavy casting, and connected to the heads instead of the block

Having said that, the block and crank, possibly the rods are useful, and some guys claim to have used the heads

Better be cheap!!!

Motor home 413 only good for block and crank....toss the rest in the scrap pile. Block should be the good marine/ industrial version...good unit

What year engine? 440 source has info that the early 413 industrial engine had .4" thick cylinder walls and can be bored to 440 size. It also has extra raised webbing on the sides of the block.

That is a pretty rare engine mosty used primarily for equipment and oil fields
rather in automotive. But I would sonic test any block before
bore (.130+) it over or even near that much over.
