Ready to put timing chain, oil pan ect on my 416 build. It is a street machine mainly. Do you guys recommend getting a stock oil pan for this that holds 4 quarts or should I put something else on.

  1. After putting so much into a stroker, it seems fitting to go further with the oiling/capacity system. It would be nice to have the additional capacity and possibly a tray/scraper/baffles in there. Check out the Kevko pans. Good stuff at affordable prices.

As in another thread.... look for a deeper pan that holds more oil. Use a crank scraper.
Kevco makes a deep pan many like.
Mildon makes a road race pan that was developed with help from a racer that frequents here, "AutoXcuda."

ok, Thanks. Looking at the Kevko Part # M301.

Good pan. Replaced mine this year with new front end setup and went with their rear sump. Welds are not pretty on these but they do seem to work well.
