I would be worried about breaking rocker arms.......
The amount of metal removed for spring/retainer clearance varies too.

I have been running those same rocker arms for years. Had to cut them the same way. Have never had a problem.

If you’re gonna be negative keep your comments to yourself. I work for an engine building shop we build racing engines all the time.

What was the cause of the inspection tear down? And what were the results?

The car it came in is gone and I never heard the engine run. Previous owner just started it. I wanted to tear it down and check it. Crank passed mag, lifters and cam not worn, no scuffing on pistons.
If it doesn’t sell I’ll build it after Carlisle.
