4160 Holley secondary bowl leak

Ok here is the deal I have a 4160 Holley 600cfm vacuum secondary carb that has a leak on the secondary bowl where the plug is. I have re sealed with JB weld twice and it wont stay sealed for more than a couple months. Any low buck repair ideas? I'm trying to be cheap on this at the moment and not buy a new bowl.

need a bowl? Center or side hung? I probably got a side hung bowl in the parts bin you can have.

It needs another float bowl. They get hairline cracks.
