heres the build , 418 , eagle steel crank, 11.5 comression, more like 11.8,diamond pistons are out a couple thousands, ported eddy heads flow 277@600, ported eddy t-ram,660 holleys -center squirters, ultra dyne 263/[email protected] solid cam , crank scraper, 8 qt pan, all assembled from the help of fishy68 -traci!!! i have only driven it twice-2 short runs down the street.

it makes goobs of torque and hp, i have some bugs to work out, 1 is a bad rocker ball adjuster, and the other wich im not looking forward to fixing is that i tore off 3 teeth off the convertor ring gear.:angry7:

Sounds like you have a few details to work out. The ring gear problem will be a pain. Looks good and have fun. Keep us posted on your progress.

I'm interested to see how the tunnel ram performs with the stroker. I asked the question in another thread about running a TR on a stroker for the street, but didn't get any response. I would like to hear your thoughts once you get the bugs worked out.

i cant see any problems running a tunnelram on a stroker,i used one for a while on a stock stroke 340 and after doing some tuning it ran very well, fellt about the same as the airgap it replaced in the low range and it pulled hard up top so i cant see it doing any damage to the torque on a stroker..
a friend of mine runs a t-ram with out of the box eddy 500´s on a stroker sbc and that heavy 65malibu was a pretty a wild ride doing 11.50´s just like it was driven on the street

First off, it looks to be awesome..

Just out of curiosity, what gasoline are you going to be running in this car and is this truly going to be a street driver?

The gasoline question is very important to me

congrats....glad to see it running.thats the same intake i run.once you get it dialed in you wont look back.

Nice, like the rear tires tucked in. what are you running for rear suspension. Mini tub, what rear springs. Love the tunnel ram.

nice! loving that tunnelram! show us some video!

for fuel im running a home brew , i did some research, google home brew octane booster, so 4 gals 93 octane 1 gal e-85, 1 gal of xylene 114 octane avereage it out it comes to 98.5 octane , cut to 3 gals of 93 it raises it about a point. i get xylene at work for 9.00,4 gals of 93 is 11.20, 1 gal of e-85 is 2.35 for a total of 20.55divided by6= about 3.50 a gal ,ITS BEEN ALONG DAY DOUBLE CHECK MY MATH lol ... the rear is narrowed 2 or 3 in per side, 12 wide centerlines, tires are e.t streets 28tall x13.50.i had a t-ram before on a sm block ford in a light car 20 years ago and it ran 11.42 . sm. block chrysler heads in my opion flow just ok, for a hot street car , mine flow 277 @ 600, well put a single plane on and it will cut down that total air flow,( in my opion), i have heard of guys switching from a victor 340 to a super victor and gain 10 hp, but spending a total of 600.00 for a intake and some porting.this again is my veiw of intake comparissons. take the carbs off my t-ram and look down it and you will see no air obstacles to get air into the motor, if you look real good you can see the intake valve, i gasket matched the tunnel ram after i got the heads back from being proffessionally ported, plus the t-ram has some additional work done to it also. the carbs are 660 t-ram carbs, they need to be tuned, we drilled out the air bleeds and installed screw-in bleeds so it will be easier to tune on the dyno, my opion again build the same motor 1 with t-ram , 1 with 1 carb. single plane - the t-ram should make 40-50 more hp. car craft or hot rod tested a t-ram on a w-2 headed 340 with 2- 750 carbs vs. a 360-1 intake, t-ram won, and then put the t-ram on a bigger cube motor wich needs more air any way it will like it.

Wouldn't it be easier and more practical to just make some fuel system changes and run it on e85 alone?? There's people running 14:1cr on that and I have friends running high compression talons at 30+ psi on e85, the stuff does work. And because I am picky, please change that pcv to a breather instead of feeding that crap through your sweet new motor.

Looks good 35regal! Nice to see it getting together. Do you have any plans to take it to the track anytime soon?

BTW, what size are those headers?

unless your fuel system is set up for all that alcohol, i think your asking for trouble

i was planning on switching the carbs to e-85,but the build went over budget, so i have to do this until i can do the conversion, my buddy runs a quick fuel e-85 carb on hiis 416, he had the biggest jets they make for a 4150 style carb. and its still runnin lean, so he took it to c&s carb. shop they worked on it, now he has to start over trying to get it jetted right.when i can afford to have it dyno tuned i was planning on bringing a couple different fuels to test.

yeah E85 carbs run huge jets.. my 4500 has 104´s in all four corners without powervalves:read2:
