A few months ago I bought a pair of brand new 426-572 Edelbrock Hemi bare heads.
Now I want to buy the intake valves 2.32 and the exhaust 1.94
My question is somebody know the Edelbrock valves specifications (how tall the valves are)?
Thanks

No help here but, not to state the obvious, why not call Edelbrock?

The Edelbrock valves are terrible. Yes, they will work, but they are terrible. Call Ray Barton and see if he has some. His are better. Actually, if you bought them without valves that means they don't have a valve job so I would send them to him for a valve job also. Yes, you could have that done locally but he can do you a better valve job.

Do not rely on the Edelbrock valves, my machinist inspected the valves in my Edelbrock heads and told me they were complete junk. I've been dealing with the same machinist for over 30 years and he has never steered me wrong.

Hi
Thank you for let me know
I going to call to Ray Barton to talk about the valves and the heads valve job.
Thank you very much!

Never heard about Edelbrock valves being bad, and my engine is together. I did lap them, and the lap looked good.

Did you ever find any information ?

Got the same heads on my 572. They did get a valve job after porting. No issues with the valves & haven’t heard that there was. What block are you running? I run a KB block and the head bolt holes required reaming and the proper head gasket from Tim @ FHO.

There's Tim Bannon in Clearwater Florida, too. Here's web site.

He's also the new owner of Keith Black.
