i recently picked up 1974 duster that had a 440 in it. whoever put it together did a really rough job to go drag racing and I've been trying to get it to a street strip can but running into several problems
the destroyed the k member and had elephant ear motor plate but id like to run an alternator and make it more streetable. i installed the QA1 1970-72 k member but the oil pump hits the motor mount tower .i used a trans dapt big block conversion motor mount kit but its sketchy. id like to get the motor back a little further to make more room for the fenderwell headers
it had hooker fenderwell headers and im thinking of going to a 15x4 rim with a 145 70 15 tire to try and get a little turning radius.
im looking for ideas , opinions really .
