440 hood clearance

Will a 440 fit under the stock flat hood in a 71 duster with the RPM intake? How does the Street Dominator compare with the RPM. Spool-type K-frame with Schumacher mounts and Eddy RPM heads, street/strip 475-500 HP. Comp Cams XE258HL hyd-flat-tappet cam. Holly 800 DP.

The Holley Street Dominator and Performer RPM should be up a few hp on a regular Performer intake. The Street Dominator and the regular Performer will
fit under a flat hood in most cases.

I have a 68 Dart with flat hood.

Under it I have a stroked 440, with RPM heads and intake. Schumaker mounts as well. Fits fine with a 14x3 aircleaner, with a 1" drop base. A holley SD will fit as well.

Personally, I like the RPM better.

Yes it did fit on my 71 Scamp, until I went with a different set-up.
