I'm building one now. Original linkage is beyond rare as hen's teeth. There's a kit for sale on eBay that is a generic kit for offy and edelbrock cross rams that'll work as long as your not using double pumper Holley's like I am. I'm in the midst of rebuilding the carbs now but I'll try to get some pics to you this evening.

Been trying to research using one of these things for months. Absolutely no concrete solutions just tons of opinions... People either swear by them or at them and, out of those folks it's hard to determine which ones actually used 'em.

If you are looking for gaskets or linkage, try this ebay seller. I inquired once on STR-12 gaskets and he claimed he made the best linkage for those manifolds. Perhaps he also makes linkage for the STR-14 as well. See link below for his gaskets.

I made my STR-12 tops out of 1/4 plate (2X4 buckled on only backfire) then 3/8 (1 x 4) with a small freeze plug for blow off protection. I never popped that one. There is some serious pressure under there when you get an overpressure as its hundreds of square inches.

I'm considering putting a pop off plates on either end of the intake base for that reason. Read alot of back fire stories about cross rams.

I have a relatively mild 500" stroker. Supposedly these intakes work well with smallish carbs and cam profiles. I'm starting with holley 650 do's with 50cc accelerator pumps on the primaries. It's imparitive to match the carbs as close as possible when it comes to tuning. You also have to synchronize the linkage so both carbs open equally.
