5.7 0r 6.1 with msd hemi 6 and carb

I think the 50 degrees he was referring to was during cruise, not WOT, but I might have read it wrong. I know my max WOT setting is still down low around 20, but on light cruise it pulls an extra 16-18 or something for a total of just around 40. I'd have to look at the graph again (I'm still just using the stock MSD one, haven't felt like trying to change it since I got the EFI running).

Finally, according to this article on MS3 and about 22 degrees of advance at WOT is about the max for this motor. For those who've run 50 degrees, me thinks there might be some other issues in your setup. I've never seen a motor run well on 50 degrees of advance.

Joe - I was referring to the advance at Cruise when I mentioned 50 deg..not WOT.

Map63Vette - thanks thats very helpful - it gives me a good starting point.

Here you go http://3gduster.com/tuning.html There's a picture of my MSD map at the bottom of the page. I'm pretty sure those are still the stock timing values that come with the box. The "mechanical" advance (bottom graph) seems a little high at max RPM (~26 degrees), but if you notice on the "vaccuum" advance (top graph) it actually pulls negative timing at WOT (~14-15 PSIA). You have to keep in mind that the MAP values are in absolute pressure, not gauge, so 14 PSI doesn't mean 14 PSI of boost, it's atmospheric.
