50th Anniversary of Vanishing Point

Today, March 13th, is the 50th anniversary of the release of Vanishing Point (1971). One of my favorite movies and the one that got me started into MoPar’s.

I know it’s not A body, MoPar or no car!

Full movie is a lot better, can buy it on DVD on ebay for around 20 bucks. Great high definition, all the way down to the bugs on the windshield.

PS: you want to get the 1971 Version, the later "Remake" does not do the movie justice.

you know, i watched it (even have it on DVD somehwere) and i may even have seen the remake aswell

i just never felt that it lived up to the hype

i was in the army when it came out. it cost .25 cents for us to go to the show on base. we watched it 6 times,1 right after the other, that day. cost us 1.50 and we spent 5.50 each on eats during the 6 showings.
