I find it weird that at least a couple of threads on here showing "how" show cutting out the upper part of the crossmember, and that ad says so to.......and yet........that crossmember is designed to bolt to the factory upper crossmember LOL

That's because it retains the lower part of the cross member.

A500 fit the same?

Uea, the a500 mounts in the same spot as the a518. I have that mount, but am not to that point yet in my build.

I've asked US Car tooil if cutting is required and the car they created this mount for did not, but that doesn't mean other cars don't need modified.
