/6 Fi?

looks pretty cool and could be fun but a 995.00 starting bid and he doesnt even know what it fits. he better hope someone who needs it knows what it is but there is no way im spending 995+ on an intake for a 6 cyl maybe its a good deal i dont know but im not paying that much. Justin
 
if its an algon unit, its probably exceedingly rare. maybe one of one! it almost looks like its for an AMC six cyl, like you would find in a gremlin or like you said maybe a jeep. dunno.
algon stuff is really cool, al gonsalves was really ahead of his time with the mechanical fuel injection. they made units for just about everything, even for motors as esoteric as the Pontiac OHC inline 6. talk about rare!

A while ago I was trying to track down the Hilborn set up that was on a slant that my dad and some friends used to rack at SIR. I emailed Hilborn and they said that they will consiter repoping these if they got enough orders.

Here is a link to all the slant pics that I have found and yes alot of them are cars from FABO. I use alot of them for referance and others are just plain cool!

If I recall correctly, a member over at slantsix.org, contacted Hilborn, not too long ago. Hilborn stated the molds and patterns were long gone.

PS: I see you have a pic of the engine in my 66 Cuda in your album. :)
